Realistic Business Simulation Games
Make your classes more realistic with business simulations from Great Simulations, designed especially for undergraduate business classes and MBA programs. These simulations allow your students to compete against each other in the management of a business and provide hands-on experience practicing skills learned from textbooks and lectures.
Great Simulations, Inc. offers three web-based simulations:
- Threshold Competitor simulates the operation of a small manufacturing business.
- Threshold Entrepreneur simulates a small start-up company.
- Merlin simulates the execution of a marketing plan for a two product, three territory company.
Each simulation offers three modes of operation:
- A Team simulation where students compete against each other.
- A Practice simulation where the student competes against the computer that lets the student try out various strategies before applying them in one of the other simulations.
- An Exam simulation where each student competes against the computer and the teacher can view the results for evaluation.
Each simulation has an administrator program that lets the professor set the parameters students face in the operation of their business and review the progress of each Team or Student.
